Don’t Have Acceptable ID?
In some cases, we may still be able to help.
Alaska law allows us to verify your identity using two credible witnesses.
Credible Witnesses Must:
●Personally know the signer
(not just recognize them — they must truly know them, e.g., neighbor, friend, coworker)
●Appear in person with the signer
(cannot vouch remotely or by phone)
●Present valid ID themselves
(They must have government-issued photo ID to prove who they are)
●Not be named in or benefit from the document
(They must be neutral third parties. Not family, parties to the contract, or beneficiaries)
●Swear or affirm under oath
that they personally know
the signer and that the
signer has no acceptable ID.
